The Giants lost their game to Dallas, 24-21, and although their tactile performance wasn't what we'd hoped, they did have some decent fantasy numbers. Below is the Giants' fantasy roundup for Week 12 courtesy of Rotoworld:

Coach Tom Coughlin said Hakeem Nicks (abdominal) didn't play in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys because he didn't practice in full this week.Nicks was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday after getting his abdominal strain checked out Wednesday. Of course, players that are limited in practice play on Sundays all the time -- even for Coughlin. It has raised some eyebrows in New York as there appears to be more than meets the eye here. Nicks declined to say anything as he walked out of the locker room Sunday with sunglasses on and hood up. Rueben Randle had three catches for 64 yards while making his first start of the season.

Peyton Hillis was a healthy scratch for the second straight game in Week 12 against Dallas.Hillis has fallen to fourth on the running back depth chart, as Brandon Jacobs is starter Andre Brown's primary complementary back, and Michael Cox is now active to return kickoffs. Hillis can be dropped in 14-team leagues.

Finally, Giants' writers get to pen a winning epilogue for once. ?A win is a win, no matter how ugly. The Giants playing with an entirely new backfield and QB Eli Manning felt pressure several times and threw the ball carelessly. He was not as accurate as one would expect against the young Vikings' secondary and he lucked out a few times after throwing the ball up for grabs.

Conversely, his receivers dropped several passes on him. The fantasy stats were stale as a result, Here's a quick rundown from our friends at Rotoworld from a Giants' standpoint.....

TE Brandon Myers caught two passes for 15 yards in Week 7 versus Minnesota.Myers was targeted just three times. Both of his receptions were good for third-down conversions. Myers has been a complete non-factor since catching 13 passes combined in Weeks 1 and 2. He has just seven catches since and is a low-end TE2.

Something new here...since the real football games are getting depressing, we've decided to add a fantasy section to the site. Here's yesterday's rundown from a Giants perspective:

QB Eli Manning: 24/52, 334 yds, ?2 TD, 3 INT...18 FFP

Rotoworld assessment: Manning's mistakes continue to pile up as the Giants have sunk to 0-5. He's now thrown a league-leading 12 interceptions in five games, some of which have come on simple miscommunications with receivers. He's also getting buried by the injuries along his offensive line as the Eagles got to him four more times in this one. The Giants aren't just going to pack it in, but turning things around on a short week (Thursday at Chicago) is a recipe for disaster. Manning is going to be a mid-range QB2 option at best.

We know the Giants haven't been lighting it up fantasy-wise this year, but things might be about to change. The Eagles' defense has been giving up points and yards in droves. Will the Giants be able to take advantage...?

It's never to early to start talking fantasy football and with the Giants roster taking shape it's safe to say that the offense will produce some fantasy football must-haves.

Let's start at the Quarterback position with Eli Manning. Last year was seen as a step backwards for the two time Super Bowl champ but in terms of fantasy Eli once again broke the 300 point mark. His 3,900+ passing yards was the first time he failed to get over 4,000 since 2008. His last 4 seasons he's totalled 4,021, 4,022, 4,933, 3,948 yards.
