Throughout its "Big Monday" doubleheader, ESPN did its best to hype LSU freshman Ben Simmons, calling him the "Best Player in the Country" on a pop-up ad that appeared throughout the night.

ESPN followed that up on Tuesday morning with an in-depth profile on SportsCenter of Simmons and his path from Australia to LSU, where he may or may not be showcased in the NCAA Tournament.

"Here's a kid that can play all five spots offensively and defensively," Kevin Goojian, who coached Simmons in Australia, told ESPN. "He's by far the best player this country's ever produced."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Brice Johnson had career-highs of 39 points and 23 rebounds to lead No. 6 North Carolina to a 106-90 victory over Florida State on Monday night.

It was the first 20-20 game for a Tar Heel since Tyler Zeller had 20 points and 22 rebounds against Ohio in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, and the first 30/20 game since Mitch Kupchak in 1976.

Johnson joined a select group of former Tar Heels to go for 30 and 20 in a game. Billy Cunningham had 48 and 25 against Tulane on Dec. 10, 1964 and 40 and 28 against Maryland on Jan. 13, 1964.
