Former Iona guard A.J. English will play summer league with the Golden State Warriors after going undrafted on Thursday night.
The Warriors, who set an NBA record with 73 regular-season wins in 2015-16 before losing to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, headline the list of 24 teams scheduled to compete in Samsung NBA Summer League 2016 from July 8-18 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion at UNLV.
"He is a big guard with great length who can shoot it very deep and fits the NBA mold," Iona associate head coach Jared Grasso told SNY.tv. "His toughness and work ethic are elite."
