NEW YORK -- With some 50 NBA personnel credentialed for the Under Armour Elite 24, Class of 2017 stars Trevon Duval, Nick Richards and Jahvon Quinerly were among those who stood out during Thursday's practice at the Gauchos Gym in The Bronx.

The 6-foot-3 Duval from the WE-R1 AAU program is the face of the Under Armour Association and arguably the biggest name in the game. He has yet to pick a high school for the upcoming school year, and is considering Maryland, UCLA, Villanova, Kansas, Oregon, Arizona and Cal, among others.

"Yeah, he can really play," former Kentucky and NBA star Jamal Mashburn, who will coach the Clutch (White) team in Saturday's game against Duval's Drive (Dark) team, told SNY.tv. "I think he's an excellent player. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, and I told him I didn't even watch him shoot the ball."

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- Jahvon Quinerly has been phenomenal here at the UAA Finals.

With Tony Bennett of Virginia and Chris Mullin of St. John's among many coaches on hand, the Hudson Catholic (N.J.) point guard has averaged 17 points, and 4 assists in two wins over the Florida Vipers and New Heights.

"It's been great," Quinerly told SNY.tv. "Just trying to win the UAA Finals. That's my main focus. We need to continue to play defense. A lot of teams lack that at this level of the circuit. If you play defense, you have a better chance of winning games."

As we reported last week, Seton Hall is attempting to land a "Fab Five" of its own from the New Jersey area.

The Pirates on Sunday hosted the Sports U Team Izod Class of 2018 quintet of Jahvon Quinerly, Luther Muhammad, Atiba Taylor, Louis King and Naz Reid.

The players visited Seton Hall one day after sophomore guard Isaiah Whitehead went for 40 points in an 84-79 exhibition win over Baruch College.
