Jets S Jamal Adams told Bleacher Report earlier this year that his team's locker room lacked energy last season and "it was like everybody wanted to do the bare minimum."
On Tuesday, he expanded upon those comments after practice was over.
"I'm very passionate," he said about the comments, which were just published on Tuesday. "Coming in, I was wide-eyed. I just wanted to come in and work hard and make an impact. The things that came out, I didn't feel very strong as far as me saying that."
In the wide-ranging Q&A, Adams said everyone had a losing vibe and "didn't want to go above and beyond."
