CHICAGO -- Duke commit Frank Jackson and uncommitted wing Josh Jackson both have the same last name. Both had 19 points for the West team in Wednesday's McDonald's All-American Game, and both earned Co-MVP awards for their performances.

But after a postgame television interview with the two players together, Josh was the one bombarded by the media. Among the lights, cameras and cellphones, he wouldn't budge or hint at where he plans on going to college.

"I'm really waiting for an opportunity where I can be home be around my family and close friends," he said. "I really want to [announce] around the people who have been supporting me the whole way through."

CHICAGO -- Before their college careers begin this fall, the 2016 McDonald's All-Americans lit up the United Center on Wednesday night. Thanks to a pair of "Jacksons," the West All-Americans emerged victorious.

Unrelated teammates Frank Jackson and Josh Jackson were named Co-MVPs as the West team topped the East team 114-107 in the 39th McDonald's All-American Game.

Both players scored 19 points, with Frank Jackson shooting 5-7 from deep. Josh Jackson added 19 points of his own, going 9-11 from the field.

CHICAGO -- Terrance Ferguson doesn't know yet where he'll play this fall, but it's not just the coaches that are recruiting him.

Fellow guard and McDonald's All-American Kobi Simmons is pushing hard for Ferguson to join him in the desert to play under Sean Miller. The addition of Ferguson would add even more talent to Arizona's already-impressive backcourt, which includes new recruits in Simmons and Rawle Alkins and possibly Allonzo Trier, if he elects to return to campus.

On Tuesday, Ferguson hung out with and participated in a photoshoot with another uncommitted prospect in Josh Jackson at the McDonald's All-American Game media day at the United Center. Ferguson, however, said the two don't really discuss the recruitment process or the potential to team up somewhere. The two have mutual interest in schools like Arizona and Kansas.

CHICAGO -- At this point, uncommitted big man Marques Bolden is no stranger to national attention. At Tuesday's McDonald's All-American media day at the United Center, the elite prospect was mobbed by reporters and players alike.

Bolden says he still needs time to make a final decision, but it's clear that whichever program he chooses will be getting a huge boost. The Class of 2016's top big man won't disclose anything this week, but the senior says he still plans on announcing before his birthday, April 17. Though his list hasn't officially been cut down, Bolden named Kentucky, Duke and TCU as his top choices.

Bolden brushed off any talk of stress when asked about the media and player attention.

CHICAGO -- While many of the McDonald's All-Americans spent Tuesday's media day soaking up the hype and media attention, four uncommitted recruits did so with a big decision looming.

Uncommitted wing prospect Josh Jackson says he's already made that decision. Now he just needs to decide how and when to announce it to the world.

"It's clear in my mind [where I'm going]," Jackson said about his decision, which he says has wavered at times.

Jarrett Allen, one of the top uncommitted big men in the Class of 2016, says six schools are working the hardest to land him and he won't make an announcement until after the Nike Hoop Summit April 9 in Portland, Ore.

In a video interview with Evan Daniels of Scout.com from the McDonald's All-American Game in Chicago, the 6-foot-10, 225-pound Allen out of Austin (TX) St. Stephen's Episcopal listed Texas, Houston, Kansas, Kentucky, Notre Dame and North Carolina. He has visited all of the schools but North Carolina, which plays Syracuse Saturday in the Final Four in Houston.

"I'm definitely going to start thinking about it after the Hoop Summit game," he told Daniels. "It's going to be a busy time period from now until Hoop Summit, so after that I'm going to start thinking about it a lot."

Marques Bolden, the No. 1-ranked American big man in the Class of 2016, won't announce his college decision this week at the McDonald's All-American Game but won't wait until his birthday on April 17th, either.

"I'm not going to wait that long," he told Ben Roberts of Kentucky.com. "That's super late."

Five-star unsigned Prolific Prep (CA) wing Josh Jackson tells Rivals he knows where he will attend what will likely be his only year of college.

Rumors floated last week that Jackson was about to pull the trigger, rumors that never came to fruition, but Jackson said they were more than just rumors.

"Originally I was supposed to make a decision on Thursday," Jackson said. "There were a few of my family members and close friends that couldn't make it at that time so we cancelled it. It's juts a real special thing I want to do and I want to have the people who have been supporting me the whole way through there."
