Former Golden State Warrior Festus Ezeli has signed with the Knicks G-League affiliate, he told Marc Spears.
Ezeli will head to Westchester and has not played in an NBA game since the 2016 Finals, where he and the Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in seven games.
Ezeli won a title with Golden State the year prior. He signed with the Portland Trailblazers in the summer of 2016, but never appeared in a game and underwent knee surgery in March of 2017.
“I’ve put so much into this process but this is my dream. Chasing your dreams is worth every inch of the cost,” he told Undefeated.
Ezeli averages 4.2 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in his career - in 2015-16, he played in 46 games and averaged 7.0 points and 5.6 boards per contest.
