Joe Schoen isn’t wasting any time with his coaching search.
Just hours after officially being named the new Giants general manager, Schoen officially requested permission to speak with two Buffalo Bills assistants about the Giants’ head coaching job, according to a source. And the first of those interviews -- with Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll – took place on Friday night.
The second will take place on Saturday with Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.
Schoen, the former assistant GM of the Buffalo Bills, is still up in Orchard Park, N.Y., but the interviews are still being conducted virtually, according to the Giants. He was joined in the video conference with Daboll by Giants co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch.
