Heading into Week 1, one of the biggest questions the Jets faced was what to do with their wide receivers.

Injuries have hindered the group throughout training camp. But luckily, it appears top options in that room are starting to get healthy again.

Ahead of practice on Wednesday, head coach Adam Gase didn't mention Breshad Perriman (knee) and Denzel Mims (hamstring) during his injury updates. That's a huge step forward as they were a full go for practice, and could be the same on Sunday when the Jets open their season against the Bills.

"The fact that we got more guys back -- you see this list kinda starting to shrink. It's kinda nice," Gase told reporters.

He's downplaying it, though. If Perriman and Mims couldn't go, the starting wideouts would be Jamison Crowder, Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios. That would almost certainly mean Gase would have to dip into the practice squad to bring up some reinforcements, too.

That's obviously not ideal, so seeing that these two receivers are starting to look fully healthy is a good sign for the Jets heading into the start of the season. With a few more days left before New York travels up north to Buffalo, we'll get a better outlook at the Jets' receivers that Gase will be working with.
