The Knicks selected former McDonald's All-American center Mitchell Robinson with the No. 36 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Robinson, a 7-footer from Pine Forest High School (Fla.), enrolled at Western Kentucky in July 2017 but left the school without suiting up for the Hilltoppers. He would have been forced to sit out the 2017-18 season to transfer, so Robinson decided to leave WKU and prepare for the draft.

The 20-year-old is one of the more uncertain prospects in the draft due to his lack of competition last season. His physical tools make him an interesting addition for the Knicks, who could use an athletic project like Robinson in their rebuild.

Robinson is the second Knicks selection in the draft after No. 9 overall pick Kevin Knox out of Kentucky.
