After George Floyd was killed by police, it sparked a resurgence in the fight for social justice.

But Kyrie Irving took it to another level.

According to former NBA champion Stephen Jackson, who was a good friend of Floyd's, Irving bought the Floyd family a house.

'[Floyd's daughter Gianna is] getting so much love -- not just from us, but from people all around the world who are showing support...," Jackson said on The Rematch. "Kyrie Irving bought [the family] a house. Lil Wayne's manager bought them a Mercedes Benz. Barbra Streisand gave them stock in Disney."

Irving notably has taken a leave of absence due to "personal reasons," some of which have been speculated to be regarding the Capitol Building riots on Jan. 6.

Irving, who has missed the last six games, will also miss Monday night's game against the Milwaukee Bucks as he gets back into basketball shape after his missed time.

While Irving's absence and reasons for it has its right to be questioned, his commitment to helping the community should not go unnoticed.
