Robinson-Earl has quintessential role player qualities, making him the perfect prospect for a team full of stars. The Nets could use him the same way they use Blake Griffin: as a playmaking big who screens, rolls to the rim, and spots up from 3.

Ziaire Williams, forward (Stanford)

Even in Brooklyn's situation, where it is in win-now mode, this team should be thinking high-upside because this is its only first-round pick. Williams is a big swing but one worth taking. He was at one point considered a potential lottery talent in this draft but he underwhelmed at Stanford. And while his skinny frame and raw potential make him a longshot to play early, he could be the best value add of the draft if the Nets scoop him at No. 27.

Darren Hartwell, NBC Sports

Ayo Dosunmu, guard (Illinois)

Dosunmu won the Bob Cousy Award as the nation’s top point guard and did it all (20.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game) for a strong Illinois team. We could see him being a solid backup to Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn.

Jonathan Wasserman, Bleacher Report

Josh Christopher, wing (Arizona State)

Unlikely to find an immediate contributor, the Nets could see Christopher as a worthwhile project based on his explosiveness, defensive tools, self-creation and shot-making.
