The Nets are signing Bruce Brown to the $4.7 million qualifying offer, and have agreed to a one-year deal with James Johnson.

Brown started in 37 of 65 games last year, and averaged 8.8 points per game, shooting a career-best 55.6 percent from the field. Brown spent his first two seasons with the Detroit Pistons. His 5.4 rebounds per contest were also a career high.

Johnson spent last year with the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks, averaging 7.2 points per game, 9.2 while with New Orleans.

The Nets will be his fifth team in three seasons - he spent the 2019-20 season with both the Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Nets also agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with Patty Mills, who averaged 10.8 points a game with the San Antonio Spurs last year.
