Nets' first two games tentatively set as Opening Night against Warriors and Christmas against Celtics

The Nets' season will start with plenty of intrigue

The Nets are tentatively set to begin their season with an Opening Night tilt against the Golden State Warriors in Brooklyn on Dec. 22, followed by a Christmas Day matchup against the Celtics in Boston, per reports.

A time has not yet been set for Opening Night, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Christmas game against Boston is scheduled for 5 p.m, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, and is part of a five-game slate.

The New Orleans Pelicans and Heat open up with a noon game at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, followed by a 2:30 p.m. tip between the Golden State Warriors and Bucks at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The Nets get a road matchup at TD Garden in Boston.

Then the Dallas Mavericks and Lakers face off for a primetime window of 8 p.m. at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Lastly, the Los Angeles Clippers and Nuggets cap things with a 10:30 p.m. game at Ball Arena in Denver.
