Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving set to play together again Saturday

Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving are expected to all play together on Saturday, Nets head coach Steve Nash said Friday.

If his expectations come to fruition, it would be just the eighth time this season that the trio will have played together since Harden was traded to Brooklyn back in January.

Between Durant's hamstring strain that kept him out for nearly two months, Irving taking time off multiple times for personal reasons, and Harden's own hamstring strain that sidelined him for five weeks, we have yet to really see what this Nets team looks like at full strength -- especially with Blake Griffin on the team now as well.

Yet with all the missed time between the three superstars, the Nets are still sitting in the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and are just one game back of the Philadelphia 76ers for No. 1 -- though in all likelihood, they'll stay there.

While having an embarrassment of riches in the form of two former MVPs, a combined three NBA championships, and 27 All-Star appearances (33 if you add Griffin's) is nothing to complain about, the missed time on the court together could be something to watch as the heat of the NBA playoffs gets hotter and hotter.

All closers in their own right, figuring out who might take the last shot in a hypothetical Game 7 might be something that they could discuss amongst themselves or just see what happens when it happens, but it also could be a moment they could've figured out during a full season of play together on the court.

They'll likely get some time to gel together over these last couple of games and even in the first round -- no matter who their opponent winds up being. But come Round 2, they could be facing the Milwaukee Bucks, who just beat them in back-to-back games at the start of the month.

We'll see what one ball on the court for three stars really feels like soon enough.
