The Nets still have one game left -- Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers -- before a postseason push begins at the NBA bubble in the Orlando, Fla., area.
With an eye on the looming offseason, though, general manager Sean Marks puts re-signing sharpshooter Joe Harris atop the to-do list.
"Priority No. 1 -- it's that simple, yeah," Marks told the YES Network, according to the Daily News' Stefan Bondy and the Post's Brian Lewis. "Joe, I think we've talked about plenty of times. ... Seeing him with this group will certainly be a priority for us."
Harris, who turns 29 on Sept. 6, has been with the Nets for the past four seasons.
A shooting guard and small forward, Harris has averaged 12.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 27.4 minutes over 274 games (169 starts) since joining the Nets for the 2016-17 season.
The Nets hold the Bird Rights to Harris, who is set to be an unrestricted free agent.
Harris is in the second and final year of a $16 million deal that he signed in 2018, making roughly $7.7 million this season.
Starting all 68 of the games he has played in for the Nets in 2019-20, Harris is averaging a career-high 14.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per contest.
He is shooting 42.5 percent from three-point range, a hair shy of his career-best 47.4-percent mark in 2018-19.
With the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, the Nets (35-36) close out the regular season Thursday against the Blazers (34-39) at 9 p.m.
