The Nets announced the signing of Kessler Edwards to a two-way contract on Monday.

Edwards, who played college basketball at Pepperdine, was selected in the second round at No. 44 by Brooklyn in the 2021 NBA Draft.

The 6-foot-8 forward has averaged 5.7 points per game in three games at the NBA's Summer League.

His two-way deal means he'll split time this season between the Nets and their G-League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. Two-way players are allowed to spend no more than 45 days with their NBA team.
