Kevin Durant is likely to miss some more time with his hamstring injury, as the Nets are looking to be cautious getting him back in the fold.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Durant is "likely to miss another one-to-two weeks" as he ramps up his rehab on the court.

Durant has already missed about a month of playing time with this injury to go along with the other issues like COVID-19 exposure (three games) as well as rest days due to his Achilles injury he recovered from.

Still, when KD is on the court, he. is averaging 29 points per game and impacting Brooklyn tremendously.

The 32-year-old will be back with the Nets in time, though. The team just wants to be 100 percent sure Durant won't reaggravate his injury and that's the last thing they want heading into the playoffs where they have a legitimate shot to reach the NBA Finals.

For now, the Nets will continue to rely on James Harden and Kyrie Irving for their top scoring as well as other players like Joe Harris. It's a deep team that can handle the loss of Durant for a little while longer.
