James Harden’s long-term future with the Nets has been a hot topic of late, but don’t expect the All-Star guard to go anywhere before the Feb. 10 trade deadline.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nets will not listen to trade deadline offers for Harden, due mainly to Harden’s commitment to staying to help the Nets win a championship.

Per Wojnaroski, the Nets have an internal belief that the trio of Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving, when healthy, make the Nets “an unstoppable team.”

Wojnarowski also notes the Philadelphia 76ers’ potential interest in trying to acquire Harden this summer, but says no trade offer has been made, and if one is, the Nets don’t plan to engage in any Harden trades.

Harden recorded a triple-double in the Nets’ loss to the Lakers on Tuesday, and while he expressed frustration at the team not winning more games, he shot down any reports saying he is unhappy being in Brooklyn.

“I don’t know about any reports. Of course I’m frustrated because we’re not healthy,” Harden said. “There’s a lot of inconsistency for whatever reason – injuries, COVID, whatever you want to call it. Yeah, it’s frustrating. I think everyone in this organization is frustrated because we are better than what our record is and we should be on the way up.

“So that’s all it is. I don’t know about reports. If you didn’t hear it from me, I don’t talk to nobody. I have an agent. If you don’t hear it from me, then it’s reports. I’m frustrated because I want to win and I’m a competitor. It’s pretty simple.”
