It does not appear as if Jacob Trouba will miss any games for high-sticking Boston Bruins forward Trent Frederic in Saturday’s 7-4 victory.
The NHL Department of Player Safety did announce on Saturday night, though, that the Rangers captain will be fined $5,000 for his actions – the maximum fine allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Trouba and Frederic got tangled up after a whistle when the Rangers defenseman swung his stIck and struck the Bruins forward across the side of his helmet.
