Aaron Judge wasn't in the Yankees' lineup when Aaron Boone ran down the list for reporters earlier on Sunday.

Boone explained that Judge was dealing with back spasms, which started on Saturday morning after waking up.

“He woke up yesterday with it being pretty sore," Boone said. "Was able to get treatment and obviously able to get through the game."

Judge went 1-for-5 in the loss to Philadelphia on Saturday with a run scored.

Boone added that the Yankees' slugger could be available off the bench, if needed. However, with a day off on Monday coming up, keeping him out of the lineup Sunday to rest is what the Bombers want to do.

Luis Severino to undergo MRI

Boone said everyone was frustrated to see that Severino suffered a groin injury during his most recent rehab start. He gave the latest on the former Yanks ace.

"He’ll undergo an MRI this afternoon and then scheduled to see Dr. Ahmed at the stadium tomorrow and we’ll have a better picture of it," he said.

“I did see a video of that last pitch where obviously he hurt himself. So, until we get the info, I won’t speculate any more on it.”

Luke Voit to start rehab in Triple-A

Voit is going to be with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday to kick off his latest rehab assignment after suffering an oblique strain.

The slugger is doing well and Boone said that within a week Voit may be able to return to the Yankees if all goes well.
