Veteran blogger and lifelong Giants season ticket holder Craig Santucci knows how pivotal fourth round draft picks can be for a team. This year the Giants had two of them: TE Adrien Robinson of Cincinnati and Auburn OL Brandon Mosely. He is leery about how Robinson will turn out, but Mosely - who was taken after Robinson - seems to be more of a refined product.

Giants GM Jerry Reese on Robinson: "We really think this guy has a huge up-side. He is a big, big man; long arms. He didn?t catch a lot of balls for them. But he is kind of a late bloomer who has really come on. And we think this guy is kind of a JPP of tight ends. We like these kind of people. We will get Mike Pope involved with this guy. We brought him in for one of the visits. We are excited about him. We think he can really come on and develop and be a terrific football player for us. So it is very exciting for us to get him."

With their second of two fourth round picks (132 overall), the Giants selected Auburn OT Brandon Mosley.

Just like last year, the Giants waited until the fourth round to address the offensive line. And like last year, they got a player who could have gone much higher. Mosley, a huge specimen at 6'6, 315 lbs, played left tackle in college. He has great athleticism and has the ability to excel in both run and pass protection.
