Martin Brodeur Postgame:

“I think when we got scored on, everything fell apart for us. It’s a little mental block, I guess. We’ve got to be happy about the way we competed. I thought we competed real well. We were one bounce away. We hit the crossbar there just before they scored and a 2-0 makes a big difference. But we didn’t get that bounce.”

Pete DeBoer Postgame:

“We did a lot of things right. Again, they’re the Stanley Cup champs for a reason. I thought we had some opportunities in the second period to extend the lead. I thought we played a real good period. We didn’t do that. In the third, the referees got involved and they capitalized on their chances.”
