Now Commenting On:

This is a new weekly segment where I'll  be breaking down all your favorite Devils numbers and minutiae.

1 - The number of points David Clarkson has since his two-goal game in Pittsburgh on Feb. 10. His lone point was the game-winning goal in New Jersey's 5-3 win over Philadelphia last Friday.

30 - The number of goals Clarkson is still on pace for, despite his recent cold stretch. That would tie Clarkson's career best, set last season.

1.72 - Johan Hedberg's goals-against average after surrendering five goals on Long Island Saturday night. Hedberg's GAA was 0.65 entering the game.

4 - Number of multi-point games for Ilya Kovalchuk this year. The Devils' dynamic forward had just two through New Jersey's first 16 games a year ago.

8 - The number of sellouts, out of nine home games, the Devils have had thus far this year.

19.7 - The percentage at which the Devils' power play is scoring, ranking them ninth in the NHL.
