It is now official. Martin Brodeur will be out for the next 7-10 days with a bruised shoulder. The injury occurred in the first period against the Los Angeles Kings last week. Brodeur hopes to make it for the Devils' west coast road trip next week. The good news is that he will not need surgery. Keith Kinkaid will be taking Brodeur's spot on the roster.
Brodeur did spend some time on the ice with goaltender coach Chris Terrari before the team practice. He took some shots and was working on challenging the shooter. He finished practice with some skating.
