The Devils have re-signed defenseman Marek Zidlicky, the team announced (Twitter, June 3).

Zidlicky played in 81 games for the Devils last year, scoring 12 goals and adding 30 assists.

This will be his fourth season with the Devils.

The 5-11, 190-lb. rearguard led the club with eight power play goals, 18 power play points and 60 penalty minutes. He has 18 goals and 51 assists for 69 points and 108 penalty minutes in 151 games as a Devil since being acquired from Minnesota on February 24, 2012. Zidlicky has career totals of 78 goals and 289 assists for 367 points and 604 penalty minutes in 699 games with Nashville, Minnesota and New Jersey.

Since entering the league in 2003-04, he ranks 12th in games played, 15th in goals, tied for ninth in assists, 11th in points and tied for fourth with 53 power play goals among all NHL defensemen.
