Now Commenting On:

The Devils announced they have officially signed Jaromir Jagr to a deal. Jagr, who led the team in scoring with 64 points this past season, is 44 points shy of fourth place on the NHL’s all-time points list, behind only Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Gordie Howe. He needs just 13 goals to move past Mike Gartner and Phil Esposito into fifth place on the all-time goals list.

- Over at Rant Sports, Nick Villano says bringning back Jagr was a great move by the Devils. "Pete DeBoer can now make a game plan around his star player for the first time without worrying about him playing somewhere else. That is huge, and so was this signing.".
