Now Commenting On:

After a good start to the season, the Devils are struggling.

Here are some sobering tidbits:

  • New Jersey started the season 3-0-0 on the road, but now have lose three of four.
  • They've scored three goals or fewer in 11 consecutive games -- home or away. They're 3-5-2 in their last 10 games.
  • They also have the league's worst penalty kill, allowed 18 goals on 54 power plays. No other team has allowed more than 13 goals.
  • Devils scoring leader Adam Henrique, who had three goals in last season's series, missed Thursday's game with a lower-body injury.
Overall, recently, the Devils are fighting to keep their heads above water.
