Taylor Hall is a finalist for the Ted Lindsay Award, given to the league's best player as voted by the players, the NHLPA announced.
Hall is joined by the Oilers' Connor McDavid and the Avalanche's Nathan Mackinnon. McDavid won the award last season.
Hall finished sixth in the NHL in points with 93 (39 G, 54 A) and led the Devils to the playoffs, where they lost to the Lightning in the first round. McDavid led the league in scoring with 108 points and Mackinnon finished fifth with 97 points.
The 26-year-old Hall led the Devils in all major offensive categories and had 41 more points than rookie Nico Hischier, who was second on the team in points.
The winner of the Ted Lindsay Award will be announced on June 20.
