Now Commenting On:

The signing of 41-year-old Jaromir Jagr has earned mixed reviews, mostly concerning the age of the Czech forward, and what that might mean for the Devils' upcoming season. GM Lou Lamoriello, though, doesn't seem too worried, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports.

"I just felt with his experience and what he can bring to the power play, he still has the size and strength," Lamoriello said.

Jagr, too, still feels as though he will be able to add to the team, and said during his conference call that he was looking for a team that would allow him the opportunity to contribute. Jagr will certainly be a top six forward, especially now with all the offensive losses the Devils have felt recently.

Jagr definitely brings a lot of experience: he's a two-time Stanley Cup champion and won the Art Ross trophy five times.
