ORLANDO - Christopher Johnson admitted he's "really disappointed" in both Robby Anderson and Dylan Donahue, the two most recent Jets to be arrested. Still, he promised to support both players.

At least to a point.

INDIANAPOLIS - Three players on the Jets have been arrested in the last three months. One of them has been arrested for the second time in a year. That's a problem and a bad look for a franchise with an image issue.

But Todd Bowles says it doesn't mean the Jets have a character problem, too...

Jets LB Dylan Donahue was charged with DWI and reckless driving after causing a wrong-way crash in the Lincoln Tunnel early Monday morning, per NJ.com's Caitlin Mota.

The 25-year-old injured four of the 15 passengers who were on the jitney bus he hit at 2 a.m. this morning. A Port Authority police officer saw Donahue avoid traffic cones, drive into the center tunnel into oncoming traffic, Port Authority spokeman Joe Pentangelo said.

A fifth-round pick by the Jets last season, Donahue failed the sobriety and Breathalyzer tests at the scene, and was immediately placed under arrest. He was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction during the investigation as well. The Jets have not yet made a comment on the arrest...

The Jets have been a team whose defense has been built around their interior linemen for a long time, but Muhammad Wilkerson's anticipated departure could be an opportunity to reinvent themselves by finding a difference-maker who can create constant pressure off the edge.

The Jets haven't really had an elite edge rusher since John Abraham, who was traded before the 2006 draft. They've tried drafting one high (Vernon Gholston), converting an interior lineman into one (Quinton Coples), and bringing in an established veteran (Jason Taylor). But none of these have been successful. None of their low-cost free agents, reclamation projects, or later draft picks have stepped up either.

Jets OLB Dylan Donahue needs elbow surgery and is out for the season, head coach Todd Bowles said on Wednesday.

"It's tough, I mean, he played a hard game," Bowles said. "It's tough that it happened to him, but there's nothing you can do about it. He can get surgery and come back next year. It's tough for the kid, but he'll bounce back.

Let's break down the performances on the defensive side of the ball from the Jets' overtime win over the Jaguars in Week 4:

Defensive Line

Statistically, the Jets didn't have a great deal of success on the defensive line, as they had just one sack and allowed Jacksonville to rack up 175 rushing yards at 4.5 yards per carry. However, they made some key contributions to help the team win.

The Jets surprisingly hung around for the better part of three quarters, but eventually the game slipped away from them and the Raiders came away with the anticipated blowout win. Aside from a couple of ill-timed turnovers, the run defense was the biggest issue in yesterday's game.

The Jets' season got to an inauspicious start with a 21-12 loss on the road in Buffalo. Questionable coaching decisions, poor communication in the defensive backfield, an overly conservative offensive gameplan, and inconsistent tackling all contributed to the loss. However, the Jets still kept the game competitive into the fourth quarter.

Let's break down the performances on the defensive side of the ball:

The Jets are undefeated, which at the moment is insignificant. But really, given all the predictions of doom and gloom, some people probably thought they wouldn't even end up with one preseason win.

They did, but it wasn't pretty (7-3 over the Tennessee Titans at home last Saturday), and they barely answered any of the many, many major question marks surrounding their season and long-term future. Maybe their game in Detroit against the Lions on Saturday night will provide a few more clues about the direction they're headed.

In the meantime, here are five things worth watching at Ford Field tonight:
