Here are three keys for the Giants today if they are going to get of the schneid vs Houston today.
Stop the run. The Texans are averaging 151.5 yards per game on the ground. The Giants will have Markus Kuhn back and the Texans may be without their feature RB, Arian Foster. Don't let the backups beat you.
He basically told us this defense of his would take some time to get rooted. I think that's happened. The Giants are stopping the run and daring opponents to pass against them, ?exposing quarterbacks to their unending pass rush in the process.
That pass rush has looked like a flash flood as of late - a quick, powerful deluge that wipes out even the most prepared victims.
C?Shaun O'Hara (ankle/Achilles), OT?Will Beatty (foot), LB?Keith Bulluck (toe), FB?Madison Hedgecock (hamstring) and DE?Mathias Kiwanuka (neck) are all OUT for today's game.
RB?Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle), CB?Terrell Thomas(hamstring), and S?Kenny Phillips (knee) are QUESTIONABLE. ? Bradshaw and Thomas have said they will play and Phillips will likely also, but he is listed as a game time decision.

Paul Schwartz, New York Post: This is the most balanced team the Giants have faced thus far, and they will have to be at their very best to leave Texas with a victory. Don?t like how hobbled Bradshaw seems to be, still too many elements (special teams, turnovers) lacking consistency and return of linebacker Brian Cushing should inspire home team. "Schaub has been sacked 11 times in the first four games ? second-most in the league along with Kyle Orton and Michael Vick ? though the Raiders didn't get to him last weekend.
Even with the sacks, Houston ranks second in the league in total offense (415.5 yards per game) and has put up big numbers both running and passing, though usually not in the same game. The Texans said the Bears and offensive coordinator Mike Martz were too predictable in their play-calling and it cost them against New York.
Q: How's Ahmad Bradshaw?
A: He did well. He did okay ? he got up on his toes, ran around.

After ransacking the Bears' pass-happy attack with 10 sacks against Mike Martz's swiss cheese line, the Giants take on what defensive coordinator Perry Fewell calls the most balanced offense they have faced so far. The Texans average 415.5 yards per game behind quarterback Matt Schaub and wide receiver Andre Johnson (game-time decision)?but it all starts with a precision rushing attack that averages 172 yards a game. That rushing attack is led by Arian Foster, who?is tops in the NFL in rushing (134.3 yards per game), total yards from scrimmage (172.3) and first downs gained (35). Houston is averaging 27 points a game, but they've also given up, on average,?25.5 points and 408 total yards (last in the NFL).
Andrews will still see plenty of time this Sunday. ?He will be the first man off the bench to spell someone plus the Giants have been bringing him in as a blocking TE.
Players who did not practice today: the usuals - OT Will Beatty (foot) and C?Shaun O'Hara (Achilles); DE Mathias Kiwanuka (neck), FB Madison Hedgecock (hammy) and LB Keith Bulluck (toe). Those five are sure to be ruled out for Sunday.

Oddly enough, this game may come down to the Houston defense and the Giants' offense....
Here's some facts.
As a result, the line is going through some changes. David?Diehl slid over to Seubert's spot at guard. With Will Beatty out until November, Shawn Andrews is next in line to play tackle, which he did yesterday. ?Tom Coughlin said Diehl and Andrews would alternate at tackle, but that is only if Koets is out.
Today, the Giants have a midday practice followed by press sessions with all three coordinators. The next game is Sunday in Houston against the high-flying 3-1 Texans.

We have our work cut out for us. Obviously, it was special up front with the things they do and with the people they do it with. In this league, everything starts with trying to find a way to keep your quarterback upright. That performance last week was one for the ages, it was unbelievable. We're going to have to hunker down and find a way to keep our quarterback upright the best way we can and go from there. It definitely starts with protecting the quarterback.- Houston Texans' Head Coach Gary Kubiak
