24 Terrell Thomas (CB), 31 Brandon Bing (CB),36 Jayron Hosley (CB), 44 Ahmad Bradshaw (RB), 59 Michael Boley (LB), 65 William Beatty (OT), 67 Brandon Mosley (OT), 73 Shaun Rogers (DT), 88 Hakeem Nicks (WR), 90 Jason Pierre-Paul (DE), 96 Marvin Austin (DT), 98 Adrian Tracy (DE)
PUP: 47 Travis Beckum (TE), 99 Chris Canty (DT)
Nicks we know isn't ready yet. The same goes for the two on PUP.
No real concerns for Hosley (toe), JPP (back spasms), Tracy (hamstring) and Bradshaw (hand). They should all be back in action next week. The concerns lie with the unknown timetables for Beatty (back) and Austin (back), two former second-round picks that have yet to show their worth due to incessant injury problems. The Giants could be wearing thin on both. Rogers (blood clot) is still wait-and-see, but time is running out for him, too....there may be no crying in baseball, but there's no DL in football. Use 'em or lose 'em.
The team is taking things slow with Boley, whose hamstring has not improved enough for him to even resume practicing. The truth is, they really haven't missed him yet because of the recent glut of talent they've accumulated at LB. Yes, you read that right.....Jacquian Williams has put on 20 lbs of muscle and the acquisition of Keith Rivers looks to be another coup by Jerry Reese and Co. Lots of depth all of a sudden.
Mosley (ankle) and Bing (hamstring) could have trouble making the team, especially now since they can't further their cause on the field.
