The Giants, at 2-6, would have to basically run the table to win the division, which is their best option to qualify for the playoffs. No 2-6 team has ever gone on to make the playoffs in the post-merger era. Should the Giants beat Oakland this week, their odds get better. If you recall, the Redskins started the season 3-6 last year and went on to win the division with a 10-6 mark.
