Now Commenting On:

When asked if Will Beatty has any questions remaining over his right leg, which he broke last season, he was quite coy with his response.

"Do I have any questions? No, it’s still my right leg, so I am pretty good with it," Beatty said.

Beatty will likely start with the first team on Saturday, but won't stay in for their full shift.

"Coaches feel that I have proved myself in practice enough to allow me to play in this preseason game and travel with them. They haven’t given me any indication of how many plays or snaps I am going to play so before you ask that question I don’t know," he said on Thursday.

Going up against Robert Mathis will be able to show Beatty where he's at in his journey back to the game.

"Each snap he gets, he is going to give it his best. This is my marker of how well I have trained during the off-season to recover and get back to top shape," Beatty said.

The Giants have their fingers crossed when it comes to Beatty. They only have veteran Charles Brown behind him at this point and that is making a lot of people uncomfortable. LT is the keynote position on the line and the club would have the devil they know in Beatty than the devil they don't in Brown.
