Giants star WR Odell Beckham Jr. appears to be recovering well as he posted a video to his Instagram story showing his ankle recovery training.
Beckham is doing ladder work in the video, but more importantly, showing everyone that his ankle appears to be healing just fine.
The 25-year-old fractured his ankle during the Giants' Week 5 matchup with the Chargers, which required season-ending surgery to repair. He had also badly sprained his ankle in a preseason matchup with the Browns that kept him out of the first game of the season against the Cowboys.
Beckham is under his fifth-year option of his rookie contract, where he will make about $8.5 million next season. Co-owner John Mara has stated numerous times that he wants Beckham to be a Giant for life, and that a contract extension is in the near future. However, with the injury, that may have to stay on the backburner until Beckham can prove he still has his superstar play in him.
The three-time Pro Bowler totaled 302 yards and three touchdowns on 25 receptions in just four games this season.
