Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. allegedly punched a hole in a Lambeau Field wall following Sunday's season-ending 38-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card game, according to multiple reports.
Outside of a Lambeau Field media room, where Beckham answered each question at his postgame press conference, reporters heard a huge bang while Eli Manning spoke. Grounds crew members said Beckham was responsible for punching a hole in the wall after hearing the same noise, according to ESPN.
Upon seeing Beckham standing in front of the wall next to the hole after hearing the noise, a Lambeau Field grounds crew member went out to try to calm Beckham down, to which he responded by allegedly cursing at the worker, according to the New York Post.
Giants GM Jerry Reese said the team will have an independent investigation and will hold Beckham accountable if it's discovered that he caused the hole in the wall.
Beckham, whom the Packers held to four catches for 28 yards on 11 targets, was reportedly seen banging his head against the locker room wall -- shades of his reaction after New York lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16 -- following his first playoff loss, according to ESPN.
NFL security is investigating the incident and the Giants are aware of it but are not commenting, according to ESPN.
