New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has sent supplies to the city of Green Bay to fix the hole in a wall reportedly caused when Odell Beckham Jr. punched it after the Giants' loss to the Packers last Sunday, according to NJ.com.
De Blasio sent drywall, plaster and a trowel to Green Bay Mayor Jim Scmitt, in addition to the cheesecake and bagels de Blasio owed as a result of his bet with Schmitt on the NFC wild card playoff game.
Schmitt told Green Bay TV station WLUK he was disappointed about the incident at city-owned Lambeau Field.
Beckham was upset after dropping several passes and catching only four for 28 yards in the Giants 38-13 loss. Giants coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese criticized Beckham in wake of the incident, which occured outside the Giants locker room. Beckham has not spoken to the media since Sunday.
