"I already feel like I can go out there and do everything," Manning said. "We’ll still be smart about it these next few weeks and not overdo anything. If they want to limit me somewhat, I’ll understand that. But I want to take every single rep and they know that."
Manning underwent minor ankle surgery on April 10 and had been declared out for OTAs by GM Jerry Reese.
Eli is about a week or so ahead of schedule, but it doesn't matter. The Giants are not playing roulette with his health and their future. In that presser mentioned above, Reese told reporters that Eli would be back in the summer. The Giants' minicamp will be held fromJune 17-19, two days before the start of summer.
It is probable that Eli may take some limited action during minicamp, but the Giants would prefer to stick to the original timeline with Eli returning to full duty at training camp in late July.
