QB Eli Manning on Sunday became the seventh NFL quarterback in history to surpass 50,000 passing yards.
The 36-year-old Giants' quarterback crossed the 50,000 yards mark on a pass to Sterling Shepard in the fourth quarter. In doing so, Manning joined his brother, Peyton, as well as Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Dan Marino, and John Elway.
Manning needs just beyond 1,000 more passing yards to surpass Elway's career total in passing yards (51,475).
Manning, who has played with the Giants since his rookie season in 2004, has won two Super Bowl titles and was MVP in both games.
Manning has thrown for 1,600 yards and has 10 touchdowns and five interceptions in eight games for the Giants this season.
