After dropping from 3-3 to 3-8, the Jets are staring at a lost season as rookie QB Sam Darnold develops, but they have vaulted themselves into great position in the NFL Draft.

ESPN's FPI (Football Power Index) currently projects that the Jets will have the No. 4 pick in the Draft.

The FPI gives Gang Green an 80 percent chance to earn a Top 5 pick, and a 7 percent chance at the No. 1 overall pick.

Ahead of the Jets, in order, are the Cardinals (2-9), 49ers (2-9) and Raiders (2-9).

Ohio State DE Nick Bosa is expected by many to be the first overall pick.
