Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff thinks the Giants can be a Super Bowl contender next season.
"I always think Seattle. I like what Jerry Reese has done there in New York," Dimitroff told the NY Post about which teams could threaten the Falcons in the NFC next season. "We all have to go through those recovery times, right? There's been some rocky roads, and if you can pull through that, usually those organizations have a really good view of what was happening during those tough times."
The Giants finished 10-6 this season, losing to the Packers in the wild-card round in Green Bay.
The Falcons, who finished 11-5, defeated the Seahawks in the divisional round and the Packers in the NFC Championship game, will face the Patriots on Sunday in what will be their second-ever Super Bowl appearance. They lost Super Bowl XXXIII to the Broncos, 34-19.
