With time running out, the 6'6", 225 lb wideout needed to make his presence known in a game situation. Last night, Barden caught three passes including one for 22 yards and an 11-yard TD - his first ever as a Giant.
"I’ve been here for a few years and this is the healthiest I’ve been for a while and I want to show that good feeling isn’t going to waste," Barden said after the Giants' 20-17 loss to Chicago. "I want to be here for whatever my team needs me to do. Whether it is teams, whether it’s on offense, whether it’s green zone, I like to contribute in every way that I can and the more touchdowns I can get, the happier I’ll be."
We'd love to see that happen, but Barden has to make the team first. Will he?
