Free agent TE Anthony Fasano has agreed to re-sign with the Dolphins, reports Jeff Darlington of ESPN.
Paul Schwartz of the NY Post reported Tuesday that the Giants had interest in Fasano.
Fasano, 32, is used mostly as a run-blocker.
He had eight receptions for 83 yards to go along with two touchdowns in 16 games last season for the Titans, in what was the final year of his two-year deal.
Fasano made $1.975 million last season.
During his 11-year career, which has also included stints with the Cowboys, Dolphins, and Chiefs, Fasano has 287 receptions for 3,171 yards and 35 touchdowns.
The Giants primarily used Will Tye and Larry Donnell at tight end last season.
