Joe Judge's coaching staff just keeps on expanding, with Amos Jones being the latest addition as an assistant coach, SNY's Ralph Vacchiano confirmed.
Jones was with the Buccaneers last season serving as Bruce Arians' assistant special teams coach. Arians had Jones as his special teams coordinator back during his years with the Cardinals.
But the connection to Judge here is Jones being an assistant coach at Mississippi State while the former was playing.
Vacchiano says Jones comes in as Judge's "bench coach," if you will, assisting with game management, planning, and other duties. Game management is the big key here, as Judge will definitely need to build that skill in his first year as a head coach.
Much like the rest of Judge's staff around him, Jones brings years of experience to the table, something Judge will feed off of during the season.
