Big Blue is making big bucks.
According to Forbes, the Giants are valued at $3.3 billion, making them the third-most valuable NFL franchise in 2018. They also come in at eighth overall in the world.
The Giants' division rival Cowboys were named the most valubale sports team in the world for the thrid straight year at $4.8 billion. The Patriots come after the Cowboys at $3.7 billion, which is sixth-best in the world.
New York not only has tons of tradition and a loyal fan base, but this season, they feature a young team led by their veteran quarterback Eli Manning. Stars like Odell Beckham Jr. and Landon Collins as well as budding stars like Saquon Barkley make this team fun to watch.
New York has its fair share of lucrative franchises in the area. The Knicks lead all of basketball with a $3.6 billion value, which also falls at seventh overall in the world. The Yankees are also the best in the MLB with a $4 billion value, and fall at fifth overall. And even the Jets at $2.75 billion is 21st in the world, or the eighth most valuable NFL franchise.
Unfortunately, the Rangers, Islanders, and Devils don't land on the list. There are actually no NHL franchises that fall within the top 50 most valuable franchises.
