Lets get behind the numbers. For starters, I don't think anyone in the NFL would say that the Eagles pass rush is better than the New York Giants and if Justin Tuck plays it's no contest.
The Eagles has 5 sacks and 11 QB hits in last weeks game. You could expect Kiwi, Tolley and JPP to match those numbers and it wouldn't surprise me to see a safety or corner blitz thrown in a handful of times.
The Rams receivers also had 6 dropped passes. That is not going to help you win any games in NFL. I would expect Rolle and Webster to be active around the ball looking for one of those drops to stick to a blue shirt.
On the other side of the ball the Rams gave up 237 yards rushing to McCoy & Vick. With Jackson out early Cadillac Williams put up 91 yards. One would expect that Bradshaw and Jacobs could have an equally good day if Gilbride doesn't abandon the run as he did against the Redskins.
And as much as I love Fred Robbins, the former Giants Defensive Tackle, Da'Rel Scott would blow past the Rams defensive front if Gilbride ever decided to reinstate Earth, Wind and Fire!
The Eagles were 8 for 12 on 3rd down conversions. Maybe this game is exactly what the doctor ordered to restore some confidence for the New York Giants who were down right miserable on 3rd down last week.
