Giants CB Eli Apple left Saturday's practice with an apparent knee injury, reports Tom Rock of Newsday.
Apple needed help hobbling to the sideline after he tangled with WR Hunter Sharp and fell. Apple, who remained at practice and stood on the sideline, was eventually able to jog.
Earlier in practice, Apple was involved in a scuffle with TE Engram Evans. On a play when Engram hauled in a short catch, Apple shoved Engram and Engram threw the football at him.
Apple, 22, is entering his third NFL season. He played in 11 games last season, including seven starts, and registered 41 tackles and recovered two fumbles.
He intercepted one pass in his rookie season of 2016.
