The Giants continue to add secondary depth as they were awarded CB C.J. Goodwin off waivers on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old split time with the Falcons and Cardinals last season, where he totaled nine tackles over 14 games. He was an undrafted free agent that signed with the Steelers back in 2014.
He joined the Falcons on their practice squad in 2015, and eventually made it to the 53-man roster the season after. Goodwin played in all three of the Falcons' postseason games including Super Bowl LI.
Goodwin (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) is the sixth cornerback the Giants have added to their roster this offseason. Some notables include veterans William Gay, Teddy Williams, and B.W. Webb.
