Landon Collins thinks the Jets drafted a winner in Sam Darnold, but that doesn't mean the Giants defense isn't looking forward to 'feasting' on the rookie.

Collins thinks Darnold's career will be a successful one but says the Giants defense is going to 'have fun' with their game against the Jets' rookie.

"He's a rookie, we feast on rookies sometimes," Collins said, via Newsday's Owen O'Brien. "It's always an exciting game. To see him play, he's going to have a fantastic career once he gets it going, and … I know he's going to do a great job at the Jets, but you're playing against a good defense, and we're going to have fun with it."

Alec Ogletree, meanwhile, doesn't care who the Jets' quarterback is.

"For us, it's about us doing what we need to do," Ogletree said. "It doesn't really matter who's on the other side, the other team, whatever. It's about what the Giants go out there and do and as a defense."

The Giants and Jets faceoff in their annual preseason game on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
